33 Least Developed Countries, 4762 Tax Items To China, Zero Tariff

It is said that, with the approval of the State Council, the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council has decided that since July 1, 2010, the 4762 items of tax items, including leather, which are originally produced by 33 least developed countries such as Ethiopia, which have completed the exchange of notes with China, will be zero.

These commodities include poultry, aquatic products, raw or processed agricultural products, mineral products, medicinal materials, daily necessities, plastic products, leather, timber, textiles, clothing, finished products, glass products, steel and their products, mechanical and electrical products, furniture and so on.
At this point, China will become one of the developing countries with the largest market opening to the least developed countries.
According to the Ministry of finance, on the basis of the integration of the original zero tariff treatment, the list of the 4762 zero tariff commodity tax items has further increased some of the commodities of the least developed countries in recent years, which have actual export volume or potential export capacity.
In the future, our country will continue to expand its scope of benefits according to the opinions and suggestions of the countries concerned, combined with the implementation effect of the existing measures.
The Ministry of Finance believes that with the full implementation of zero tariff measures, it will bring to the people of the least developed countries.
Tangible benefits
It will also help reduce the import cost of our enterprises, widen our import channels, promote the healthy development of bilateral trade, and further strengthen friendly relations between China and the least developed countries.
The 33 beneficiaries are Ethiopia, Benin, Burundi, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Djibouti, Congo (gold), Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Comoros, Liberia, Madagascar, Mali, Malawi, Mauritania, Mozambique, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Sultan, Sultan, Sultan, Mozambique, China, Africa, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, China, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, China, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, the Republic of China.

They are still being implemented according to the original preferential treatment. They will enjoy the same zero tariff treatment after completing the relevant exchange procedures with our country.
